History summary

This sections takes place in the 2300s in the solar system. By this time, the solar system has been colonised out as far as the outher astraiod belts (as far as pluto).

Each of the planets and moons have their own political systems.

These are the conditions of the planets and their systems:

Mercury

Mercury is controlled by a rich oligarchy, which lives in a habital space over the planet.

Travel time from Mercury to Venus: 1,5 years.

Population: 700 million billion

Venus

Most people on Venus are either rich immigrants, or decendants of other immigrants. People are lossely tied together in a political entity.

Travel time from Venus to Earth: 1 year.

Population: 3 billion

Earth

Earth is by far the most powerfull entity in the solar system. It used to tie the whole solar system in a political entity under it, but after a civil war, the earth is no longer unified, and has lost controll over the other entities in the solar system.

Travel time from Earth to Mars: 2 years.

Population: 22 billion

Mars

Mars is controlled by a totalitarian statist entity. It's often at war with different countries on earth, and with enitites in the inner astroid belt.

Travel time from Mars to The inner astroid belt: 4 years.

Population: 6 billion

The inner astroid belt

This system consists of different astroids, with different political entities spanning over different astroids.

Travel time from IAB to Jupiter: 11 years.

Population: 3 billion

Travel times from system to system now becomes much longer. This means that the outer systems (The systems between the inner and outer astroid belts), are nearly isolated. The the further out one comes, the more isolated the systems becomes.

Jupiter

Jupiter has many different moons. These moons are split into different political entities. For example one entity can span three moons, while another can span 10.

Travel time from Jupiter to Saturn: 18 years.

Population: 1 billion

Saturn

All of Saturn's moons are united in a confederate monarchy, which has loose rule of the different moons.

Travel time from Saturn to Uranus: 40 years.

Population: 500 million

Uranus

Uranus has many different moons. These moons are split into different political entities. For example one entity can span three moons, while another can span 10.

Currently there is a big war going on there, which involves around 60% of the moons.

Travel time from Uranus to Neptun: 45 years.

Population: 100 million

Neptun

50 years ago the system was hit by a solar storm. All civilizations there dissapeared. There are only a few survivors on different moons.

A thick shield of heat on radiation surrounds the system like a hallow ball. This makes the system impossible to either enter or leave.

Travel time from Neptun to The Trojan astroid belts: 9 years.

Population: 20 thousand

The red trojan astroid belt

This system is barley populated. Most people live in outposts, where a few are connected in unions

Travel time from RTAB to Neptun: 9 years.

Population: 100 thousand

The blue trojan astroid belt

This system is barley populated. Most people live in outposts, where a few are connected in unions

Travel time from BTAB to Neptun: 9 years.

Population: 300 thousand
